About Us

John and Di Queripel were born in South Africa and moved to the UK in 2000 where they reside in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. Their love for nature and people in Africa prompted them to invest in this quality home on Thesen's Island in 2018. Their plan is to be there for part of the year and they have furnished it with discernment. It offers home-from-home comfort and a touch of class.

It is a gathering place for the world-wide diaspora of family living in Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia and USA and a special place for grandchildren.

Equipped for entertaining and hospitality, it is equipped for indoor and outdoor living where you can enjoy lovely meals on the patio overlooking the pool and bird pond in style and comfort.
